In 2013, when California enacted green chemistry laws impacting manufacturing and distribution of numerous consumer products, Blattel Communications successfully positioned an international law firm, based in the Southeast with offices in California, as an expert resource on related issues — both regionally and nationally.
A Step Ahead
Although this was largely a regional issue, California tends to lead the country in many legal trends. Recognizing this, we were able to position two attorneys from the firm’s Environmental Practice Group as thought leaders throughout the regulatory comment period and subsequent rollout of these new regulations — suggesting that California’s movement in the area would be a bellwether program.
A Snowball Effect for National Placements
Initially securing quotations in legal and business publications throughout California, the firm was quickly seen as the regional expert on the topic.
Building upon that momentum, we then pitched the topic nationally, stressing the potential impact the regulations may have on various industries and economies.
