Blattel Communications, a leading marketing communications agency exclusively focused on professional services firms, has named Michael Panelli to Account Supervisor.

Panelli brings a keen interest in the legal and legislative process, which he puts to use on behalf of clients to anticipate important court decisions, political events, and regulations ahead of the related news cycles. Leveraging more than a decade of media relationships, he has successfully landed hundreds of media mentions and award recognitions on behalf of clients in publications ranging from national news outlets to specialty trade journals.
Panelli received his B.S., cum laude, in justice studies from San Jose State University (2013). While there, he served as managing editor of the Justice Studies Department academic journal, Themis, Volume I, and as a writing specialist and interim administrator for the school’s Writing Center. He attended University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (2013-2014) and completed a summer internship for a private attorney in 2012. After deciding to pursue a career in public relations, Panelli served as a press intern for the California State Assembly Speaker’s press office and, later, as an account associate for a San Francisco Bay Area public relations firm, before joining Blattel Communications.
An active member of the Legal Marketing Association, Panelli has written articles on topics including strategies for drafting award-winning nominations, making legal content accessible to broader audiences, and understanding the news cycles related to lawsuits.
